Modules- ALMM
The Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM) is a list of models and manufacturers of solar photovoltaic (PV) modules approved by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE). As per the MNRE order, only the listed solar PV models and module manufacturers can be used for solar projects in India to avail subsidy from the Central Government of India .
Inverter- BIS
The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) had made it mandatory from June 2020 ,for the Inverter to be registered as per IS 16221 (Part 2): 2015 under the Compulsory Registration Scheme from BIS.As per the MNRE order only BIS Inverters to be used for the solar projects in India for availing subsidy offered by the Central Government.
